About Caroline

South Carolina shaped me. And I have called Greenville home for more than twenty-five years. It’s where my husband and I have raised our two daughters, and it’s the community that has given so much to our family.

I began my career as a public school teacher after graduating from Davidson College and earning my M.Ed. from Converse University. I taught in Georgetown County and Spartanburg County District 4 and was honored as Reading Teacher of the Year at both the school and county level.

Education isn’t theoretical to me – I’ve lived it as both a teacher and a parent.

Today, I’m a small business owner working with organizations across South Carolina and the country to strengthen leadership and raise professional standards. I’ve seen firsthand what works, what doesn’t, and what it takes to deliver real results.

I’m running to bring that same focus on accountability, service, and results to Columbia and to ensure our community has a voice that not only listens, but responds and acts.

Service has always been part of my life, from working with organizations like The Barbara Stone Foundation to supporting community initiatives that strengthen opportunity and understanding here in Greenville.

But after more than twenty years of the same representation in District 24, too many people feel their voices simply aren’t being heard. Decisions made in Columbia affect our schools, our healthcare, our safety, and our economic future – and this district deserves leadership that is responsive, thoughtful, and willing to put people ahead of politics.

That’s why I’m running.

South Carolina can lead in education, support working families, strengthen healthcare access, and build an economy that works for everyone. But reaching that potential requires leaders who are willing to listen and to act.

If you believe District 24 deserves that kind of leadership, I would be honored to have your support.

This campaign is powered by people like you.

Let's set a higher standard: showing up, responding, and following through for District 24
